In addition, it has also successfully run its own projects; such as Dingle Opportunities Ltd a job shop concept taken up and developed across the City by Liverpool City Council.
Currently Dingle 2000 in partnership with a housing co-op is in negotiation with the city to obtain a piece of land running alongside the rear of the building. This will give space to create an access ramp to a service area and a community garden for which planning permission has been gained. Our proposal envisages an exciting, self-sufficient, viable local enterprise, helping to regenerate the surrounding area.
